Colonial Region Elected Officers

The Colonial Region is one of three regions making up the Republican Party for New Castle County and one of the five regions of the Republican Party of the State of Delaware.

Region Chair

Nick has lived in the Colonial Region for over 10 years with his wife and two daughters and involved with the Colonial Region as a donor and volunteer since 2022.

Ellie has been involved with the region offering many contributions. She has actively assisted the region with many fundraiser events and helping candidates in the region. Ellie has also served as the Chair for RD 27 and Secretary of the Region. She has been instrumental in keeping the district organized and communicating with the community.

"I am the owner of MW Roofing LLC, along with my husband Chad Wloczewski, since 2008. I have one son, Michael, who lives in San Antonio, Texas with his wife and my grandson, Donny. I also have a 17-year-old stepdaughter, Lily who loves to attend Trump rallies with me. My hobbies and interests include reading, cooking and baking, true crime podcasts, collecting President Trump memorabilia, and trolling libs on X. Keep Calm and MAGA on!"

Tina Ventresca

I am a native Delawarean who served in the US Airforce for 4 years active duty and 29 years in Reserves. I have always had a love for numbers.

I have been Director of Finance & Administration for a Legal Aid Service for 31 years. Prior to joining them, I worked for two large construction companies managing multimillion dollar projects. I believe I will be instrumental in providing timely financial reports to the executive committee and keep our region members informed of our overall financial position.

I have been the chair for RD15 for 4 years. I’ve helped to grow the region volunteers and helped the Colonial Region in working with candidates and helping them promote their campaigns. I have been married for 35 years and have twin sons. I enjoy gardening, canning and crocheting

Sharon Covington

I have lived in Delaware my entire life and have called the Colonial Region home for more than 20 years. Most recently I served the Region as Vice Chair of RD27 and have been actively involved in volunteer efforts, including supporting local candidate campaigns and participating in Regional events. Over the past several decades, I have watched Delaware's political landscape evolve, which has strengthened my commitment to Republican principles and motivated me to play an active role in creating positive change throughout our State.

I am retired from a career in Human Resources with a large financial corporation, where I partnered with business executives to help achieve organizational goals through strategic human capital management.

My husband Chris and I are proud parents of two daughters and grandparents to five grandchildren, all of whom live in Delaware. Spending time with family is my greatest joy. We also share our home with a rescued pit bull who often accompanies us to local music events.
